Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and patient rooms in hospital settings
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised according to health and safety guidelines
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas
- Follow established cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Previous experience working within a hospital environment is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift cleaning equipment or supplies as required
