You’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the kitchen, preparing and serving food to a high standard, and helping to maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but we’re also happy to support someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for food and customer service.
As a Kitchen Team Member, you’ll support the day-to-day kitchen operation and help ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented safely, efficiently, and consistently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing, cooking, and presenting food quickly and to a high standard.
Supporting food service during busy periods, including weekends, school holidays, events, and parties.
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, safe, and running smoothly.
Following food safety, hygiene, allergen, and health and safety procedures.
Completing daily, weekly, and monthly checks to maintain high standards.
Managing stock rotation, date labelling, and supporting stock control.
Helping to reduce waste and keep ingredients fresh.
Working closely with front-of-house colleagues to deliver smooth and efficient service.
Using kitchen equipment responsibly and reporting faults or concerns promptly.
Supporting the wider team with preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties.
Contributing ideas to improve menus, kitchen processes, and the overall guest experience.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and proud of the work they do. You’ll enjoy working at pace, being part of a team, and maintaining excellent standards even during busy periods.
Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification desirable.
Allergen awareness training desirable.
HACCP training or understanding desirable.
Relevant catering, hospitality, or kitchen-based qualifications would be beneficial.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, particularly within a café, restaurant, visitor attraction, leisure venue, hotel, or event catering environment.
