Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our multi-site kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role you will report directly to each sites kitchen managers/head chef.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special events, while considering customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
- Excellent culinary skills with creativity in menu design and presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding dining experiences for guests.
