Quantity Surveyor, London, Hybrid Working, 36 hour Week, Up to c£80k DOE:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and maintaining financial control throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.
The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency throughout project delivery.
- Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments.
- Evaluate contractor and subcontractor tenders and quotations.
- Prepare and manage contracts and procurement strategies.
- Track project progress and produce regular financial reports.
- Assess variations, change orders, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with UK construction regulations and contractual obligations.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, architects, and site teams.
- Assist with dispute resolution and contract negotiations when required.
Requirements of a Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a quantity surveying role within the UK construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction cost software.
- Understanding of UK building regulations and procurement methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership or working towards membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects in London.
