Job Summary
This role will involve travelling to various sites across Essex and surrounding areas.
As a general builder at KNR you will be responsible for executing a variety of construction tasks, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad range of construction skills and your expertise will be crucial in contributing to the success of our building projects. Responsibilities
- Setting out bricks, blocks, and stones according to technical specifications and blueprints.
- Setting out foundation work in advance of brickwork
- Fabricate and assemble structural components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Perform general carpentry and joinery work to create precise frameworks and fixtures
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials and equipment around the site
- Follow detailed plans and specifications to ensure accurate construction work
- Assist with site preparation, including groundwork and site clearance
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to adhere to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience essential in bricklaying and setting out
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various construction tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and site safety procedures
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual labour tasks
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions accurately

Day rate is dependent on experience.

Pay: £150.00-£220.00 per day
