Role Description
As a Bench Joiner with A R Manley & Son Ltd, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of bespoke joinery products , from doors and windows, to cabinetwork and staircases.
Our workforce work an 80 hour fortnight, with the option to have every other Friday off.
Starting rate: £16.20 with opportunities for higher rates of pay based on performance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working as a Bench Joiner or in a similar position
- Trained to equivalent of NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Advanced Craft
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent knowledge of timber types, grades, and cuts, and their specific uses
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Experience in joinery machinery, including saws, spindle moulders, and planers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Highly organised and able to manage time effectively

Pay: £16.20-£16.85 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
