We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team.
We are your local MG main dealer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
- Perform diagnostics using specialised tools and equipment
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks accurately
- Test vehicles post-repair to ensure issues have been resolved effectively
- Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts utilised
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all operations
- Assist with the organisation of workshop tools and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within an automotive workshop or garage environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, adhering to safety protocols
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy workshop setting
