£2,000 Joining Bonus

The Role
As a BYD Technician, you'll work on some of the most advanced electric vehicles on the market, carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics to manufacturer standards. Whether you're already experienced with EVs or looking to make the transition, full manufacturer training will be provided, giving you the skills and qualifications needed to work confidently on BYD vehicles and the latest electric vehicle technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair BYD vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and EV systems
- Use technical information, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer bulletins
- Complete job cards and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Road test vehicles before and after repair work where required
- Deliver first-time fixes and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive attitude towards learning new technologies and EV systems
- Previous dealership experience is desirable but not essential
