An exciting opportunity for self-employed hair stylists to operate within a well-established salon owned by Haus of LA in South Norwood. This chair rental position offers flexible working hours, allowing talented professionals to build their client base while enjoying a supportive environment. The role involves delivering exceptional hair styling services, alongside additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application. Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling tailored to client preferences.
- Offer specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application, enhancing client satisfaction.
- Manage your own client appointments, ensuring timely and personalised service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation adhering to health and safety standards.
- Foster excellent customer relationships through attentive communication and personalised advice.
- Upsell additional beauty services and retail products to optimise revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with the salon team on store management tasks, including front desk duties when required.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices if applicable, sharing expertise in barbering or other specialised skills.
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related beauty services.
- Strong background in store management or salon operations is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience in eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services confidently.
- Previous mentoring or training experience is a plus, showcasing leadership qualities.
