Amour Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a fantastic company who is seeking a Workshop Controller based in Swindon.
Do you have a knack for ensuring all the details are correct first time? Do you know how to monitor quality of work? If yes, then we've got the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands on role assisting the daily operation of the workshop area
- Monitor and control use of all workshop resources including staff clock cards and quality of work
- Assist the service department team comprising workshop reception, foreman and stores to encourage high staff morale and timely customer care.
- Issuing jobs to the correct technician
Personal Requirements:
- Excellent organisation skills
- Experience of working to KPI’s, budgets and meeting targets
- Have a proven track record of managing a team of staff
- Experience in automotive industry is essential
- Previous experience with commercial vehicles or HGVs would be ideal, though not essential.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 - 16:00. 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00-12:00
Salary: up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus KPI performance bonus!
