GRP Laminating Operative
Knowsley
Fibaform (part of Eldapoint Group)
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a fast-moving manufacturing environment?
We’re looking for a GRP Laminating Operative to join us as we relocate and build our operations in Knowsley. This isn’t just another role — it’s a chance to be part of a team setting up something new and shaping how we work moving forward.
The Opportunity
Our Fibaform operation is moving from Lancaster to Knowsley, and with that comes a real opportunity to:
- Be part of a new team and new setup
- Help establish how the laminating function operates day-to-day
- Work in an environment that’s growing, evolving, and improving
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who enjoys being active, involved, and part of a team that gets things done.
The Role
You’ll be working as part of the laminating team, supporting the manufacture of GRP products including enclosures and gatehouses.
Typical duties will include:
- Carrying out GRP laminating activities to required standards
- Preparing moulds, materials, and components for production
- Trimming, finishing, and assembling GRP parts
- Following build instructions and working to production schedules
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
- Working closely with the wider production team to keep jobs moving
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in GRP laminating or a similar hands-on manufacturing role (preferred but not essential)
- Someone who enjoys practical, physical work
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and get stuck in
- Comfortable working in a busy, evolving environment
- A team player who takes pride in their work
The Reality
This is a working manufacturing environment — it can be busy, physical, and at times demanding.
But it’s also a place where:
- You can learn new skills
- Be part of building something from the ground up
- Work alongside a supportive, down-to-earth team
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a new chapter as we establish our Knowsley operation
- Opportunity to grow with the business
- Work in a team where people are valued for getting stuck in and making things happen
- Play a part in shaping how the operation develops
In Simple Terms
If you’re looking for a role where you can get involved, learn, and be part of a team building something new — this could be a great fit.
