Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for residents and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linen as required.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning duties to your line manager promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, drying, folding, and organising linen or clothing.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; previous experience in a similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
- A positive attitude and reliability are essential qualities for success in this role.
