Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to develop their skills within a reputable establishment committed to culinary excellence.
We are happy to look at a part time position for the right candidate. Must be able to work two weekends a month.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations, ensuring cleanliness and organisation at all times.
- Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
- Support junior team members through training and mentorship, fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
