Head Chef – Village Pub (Newly Renovated Kitchen)
We’re looking for a talented Head Chef (or experienced Sous Chef ready to step up) to lead the kitchen at our thriving village pub, featuring a newly refurbished, fully equipped kitchen. This is a great opportunity to shape the menu, build your own team, and create a standout food offering for a loyal local customer base.

Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff management
- Design seasonal menus and daily specials using fresh, local produce
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency
- Manage stock, costs, and budgets to meet GP targets
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as Head Chef or strong Sous Chef
- Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Good financial awareness and ability to work under pressure
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (Level 3 preferred)
Hours: Full-time, including evenings and weekends (flexible based on business needs)
