Warehouse Supervisor – Nightshift

Caterfood SW LTD is an independently run foodservice business supplying frozen food, catering products, and distribution services across the South West. We pride ourselves on delivering a reliable, high-quality service, and we’re looking for two Warehouse Supervisors to lead our nightshift team and ensure customer orders are picked and dispatched accurately and on time.
Job Summary:
You will lead and manage the nightshift warehouse team, ensuring all customer orders are picked, checked, loaded safely, accurately, and in line with requirements. The role is focused on organising the team, driving performance, and maintaining high standards across the shift.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will coordinate and guide the team through the picking and loading operation, remaining visible and ready to step in when needed to keep the shift running smoothly.
You will be responsible for ensuring all customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and readiness for delivery. You will oversee the loading of vehicles, ensuring routes are completed correctly, safely, and on time for dispatch.
You will monitor performance across the shift, maintaining pace and accuracy, and ensuring the team works in a controlled and organised way throughout.
Alongside this, you will set clear expectations, maintain discipline, and create a safe, well-run working environment, ensuring health & safety and food safety standards are followed at all times.
About You:
You have experience leading in a warehouse or similar environment and are confident managing a fast-paced, target-driven shift.
You’re comfortable setting expectations, giving clear direction, and holding your team accountable for delivering results, while still being visible and willing to support where needed.
You take pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time, leading a team that works efficiently, safely, and with a strong sense of ownership.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
