Overview
We are seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our well respected client based near Redruth, Cornwall. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records related to purchasing transactions.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded in the system
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Conduct regular analysis of accounts payable data
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft for ledger entries
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Ability to analyse financial data effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
