We have an exciting opportunity for a Female Rehabilitation Assistant to join a dedicated care team supporting a client in the Solihull area. You must be able to work a full 24 hour shift.

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Rehabilitation Assistant to support a lady with an Acquired Brain Injury.
Your role will include:
- Supporting daily living activities
- Assisting with personal care
- Encouraging independence and community access
- Supporting hobbies such as baking
- Driving the client’s own vehicle (manual licence required)
The client may be getting a dog, so you should be comfortable around animals. There are also visiting children at times, so being confident and at ease around children is important.
Previous experience with Acquired Brain Injury is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and dependable
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Observant, patient, and considerate
- A strong communicator (written and verbal)
- Comfortable around children and dogs
- In possession of a full UK manual driving licence
Being registered on the DBS Update Service is an advantage.
Working Hours
This role follows a rota including weekdays and weekends, with 24-hour shifts:
- Day Shift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Waking Night: 8:00pm – 10:00pm
- Sleep Shift: 10:00pm – 8:00am
This is a non-smoking household, so non-smokers are preferred.

Important Information
Due to the nature and flexibility required for this role, we are unable to accept candidates on Student visas or Sponsorship visas, as the working hour restrictions do not meet the needs of this position.
