About the Role
EMS Assist is seeking an experienced HCPC Registered Paramedic to join a major infrastructure construction project in Suffolk commencing July 2026.
Working as the project's onsite paramedic, you will provide emergency medical response, primary healthcare and day-to-day clinical support to the workforce. The role offers the opportunity to work independently while supporting a varied workforce in a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and primary medical care to project personnel.
- Respond to medical incidents and emergencies across the project.
- Assess, treat and stabilise injured or unwell personnel pending the arrival of NHS ambulance services where required.
- Deliver Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions within your scope of practice.
- Maintain medical equipment, medicines and response assets in a state of operational readiness.
- Complete accurate electronic medical records and incident reports.
- Provide health advice and wellbeing support to project personnel.
- Support emergency response drills and exercises.
- Liaise with site management, HSE teams and emergency services during incidents.
- Assist with the review and development of emergency response arrangements.
- Promote health, safety and wellbeing across the workforce.
Essential Requirements
- HCPC Registered Paramedic
- ALS / ACLS
- PHTLS / ITLS
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
Desirable
- Experience working within construction, industrial, offshore, remote or occupational health environments.
- EUSR Card (training can be arranged prior to mobilisation).
