We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet, North London, on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP.

The Role
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Supporting children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, speech & language, or SEMH needs (experience beneficial but not essential)
- Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience desirable)
- A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passionate about making a difference in children’s education and wellbeing
- Able to commit to a full-time, long-term role
