Duties
- Manage and oversee daily operations for a team of gas engineers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support on commercial gas systems and associated plant equipment.
- Carry out routine compliance checks, inspections, and system reviews across multiple sites.
- Maintain accurate service records, certification, and compliance documentation in accordance with current legislation.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and management to ensure smooth delivery of maintenance and project works.
- Support the development of engineers through on-site coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance.
- Identify potential risks on-site and implement corrective measures to maintain safe working environments.
Requirements:
- Previous background working within commercial gas engineering and building services environments
- Good knowledge of current gas regulations, industry standards, and safe working practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with experience coordinating engineers or subcontractors.
- Ability to diagnose faults, resolve technical issues, and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Successful applicants must be able to pass relevant security clearance checks prior to starting employment (SC Clearence)
