The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business, coordinating internal processes, and ensuring that our teams and clients receive a seamless experience. You’ll also take ownership of ISO compliance activities, working closely with our COO to maintain certification and ensure best practice across the business.
This is a hybrid role, based at our Daresbury office, combining in-person collaboration with the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily business operations across multiple departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Manage scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-ups for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and adoption of Valuechain’s digital platforms across the business and client projects.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support project delivery and performance tracking.
- Ensure all ISO compliance documentation is maintained and updated regularly.
- Work closely with the COO to schedule and coordinate internal audits, ensuring full compliance with relevant ISO standards and supporting external audits where required.
- Assist with supplier and customer communications, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Support finance and administrative processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, proposals, contracts, and marketing documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows, contributing to operational eJiciency.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in operations, compliance, or business administration roles.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or supply chain platforms is an advantage.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
