Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and general garden care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment including excavators and irrigation systems
- Supporting construction activities by preparing sites, moving materials, and assisting with basic building tasks
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Digging trenches, laying foundations, or installing fixtures as required
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean and organised to promote safety standards
- Assisting skilled tradespersons with specialised tasks as needed
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during site operations
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is advantageous
- Experience operating excavators or irrigation systems is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of construction or horticulture practices will be considered an asset
- A proactive attitude with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
