This rewarding role will involve supporting teaching and learning across Year 3 and Year 4 classes. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will help pupils access the curriculum, provide targeted interventions, and contribute to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting

Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2

A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting children's development

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team

Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour

Experience delivering small-group interventions and targeted support

A commitment to helping children achieve both academically and socially
Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning across Year 3 and Year 4 classes

Deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions where required

Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation

Support pupils with varying learning needs to access the curriculum

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to support pupil progress
