Job Overview:
Sunflowers Day Nursery are seeking a dedicated Nursery practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting.
The successful candidate will have robust knowledge of the EYFS, good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The individual must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children.
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage children
-Observe, support and extend children’s learning
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
-Demonstrate excellent childcare practices
- Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for children to thrive
Qualifications:
- Fully relevant Level 3 qualification or above in childcare
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Be a team player in a positive and motivated team
- Ability to drive positive outcomes for children's development
- Excellent organisational skills to support daily operations effectively
- Knowledge of EYFS
-Extensive knowledge of safeguarding.
There is flexibility to work part time or full time for the right candidate this will be between the hours of 7.30-6 3/4 days a week.
