CIW Registered House Manager
We're looking for House Managers and Experienced House Managers to lead one or two solo placement homes, each supporting a young person with complex needs. You'll be accountable for service delivery, staff development, regulatory excellence and maintaining outstanding outcomes. This is where your expertise in residential care translates into genuine strategic impact.
You'll balance day-to-day operations with long-term service improvement, managing budgets while building effective teams, ensuring compliance while creating environments where young people genuinely thrive. This isn't about filling a gap; it's about leading with purpose within an organisation that invests as much in your development as you invest in the young people we support.
What makes this different
This role sits within a structured eight-level career pathway with transparent progression to Area Manager positions. Where other organisations see progression as leaving, we've created genuine advancement opportunities with clear criteria, so you'll always know exactly what's next.
· All qualifications fully funded - up to Level 7 (Senior Leadership)
· Senior leadership mentoring and executive coaching
· Performance bonuses linked to young people's progression
· Innovation funding for service improvement initiatives
· Support from specialist Quality and Compliance teams
Our CARE ethos defines how we work together:
· Career & progression - structured pathways with meaningful advancement
· Accountability & culture - zero tolerance for poor management behaviours
· Recognition & relationships - expertise valued through genuine investment
· Excellence & improvement - trauma-informed practice that transforms lives
What you'll bring
· Level 5 or above in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (Adults and/or Children & Young People)
· 24 months of experience in residential childcare settings with a proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role
· Demonstrated leadership competency and regulatory compliance excellence
· Commitment to developing teams while advancing your own capabilities
The reality
Too often, talented managers leave not because they don't care, but because they can't see a future. We believe this is fundamentally wrong, both for individuals who deserve career progression and for young people who lose experienced practitioners just as they're reaching their peak.
That's why we've built something different. Here, your expertise deepens over time within an organisation that values and rewards it. You won't need to start over somewhere else every few years to find advancement. Your progression is structured, funded and leads somewhere meaningful. Ready to lead where it leads somewhere?
