Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Durham, is seeking a Sales Intelligence & Commercial Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting commercial performance and business growth.
This is not a traditional sales role. Instead, you'll be at the heart of the commercial function, ensuring sales opportunities are effectively managed, customer insights are captured, forecasts remain accurate, and business decisions are driven by meaningful data.
Working closely with sales, scheduling, and operational teams, you'll help ensure resources are focused on the right opportunities while providing valuable intelligence that supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor sales opportunities throughout the customer journey.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Follow up quotations and proposals to gather customer feedback and identify outcomes.
- Capture and analyse customer insights to understand buying behaviours and market trends.
- Ensure CRM data is accurate, up to date, and provides reliable business intelligence.
- Produce reports and commercial performance metrics for management teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Work collaboratively with operational and scheduling teams to support commercial priorities.
- Help ensure business decisions are based on factual data rather than assumptions.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding customer behaviour, analysing information, and turning data into meaningful action.
You'll ideally have experience in:

- CRM Administration & Reporting
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Confidence speaking with customers and gathering feedback.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Naturally inquisitive with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
