Overview
We are seeking a reliable and versatile General Labourer/Handyman/woman to join our team. This role involves a variety of practical tasks across different sites, supporting ongoing projects and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, physically fit, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Assisting with general site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Performing basic carpentry, painting, and repair tasks as required
- Moving materials and tools around the site safely and efficiently
- Supporting tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on tools and equipment
- Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials from vehicles such as lorries or vans
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout the day
Experience
- Previous experience in general labouring, handyman work, or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures on-site is desirable
- Ability to operate simple power tools and hand tools safely is a plus
- Physically fit with good stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various roles as required
