PS LTD are recruiting for a Machine Operative/Loading Shovel Driver for our client in Doncaster, DN4 (South Yorkshire)
Pay Rate: £16 per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: 6pm-6am (4on4off)
Duties
- Operating a loading shovel, grab crane, or other plant machinery to move scrap metal around the yard
- Loading and unloading: HGVs / skips, balers and shredders, processing equipment
- Sorting scrap metals by type and grade
- Feeding machinery and production lines with material
- Stockpiling and organising materials safely within the yard
- Checking incoming scrap loads for contamination or prohibited items
Qualifications
- Must have 360 and loading shovel experience (with-in date tickets)
- Must be happy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience operating heavy plant machinery
- Good spatial awareness and safety focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
