As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
