Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
- Develop customised lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their swimming skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to maximise learning outcomes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, goals, and any concerns.
Experience
- Must be Swim England or STA qualified.
- Water rescue test or equivalent qualification required,
- Previous experience in teaching is highly desirable.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate various techniques effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
