Bar Staff Required:
At The Palms Hotel, we are seeking motivated and energetic Bar Staff to join our dynamic team. While your main role will be bartending, due to the varied nature of our events and services, you may occasionally be required to support other departments such as F&B and Service Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails and mocktails to guests, ensuring the highest quality of service.
- Take drink orders from customers and offer recommendations, creating a memorable guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment and glassware are clean and well-stocked.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as alcohol licensing laws.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Support other hotel departments when required, with training provided.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 6 months of bartending experience in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain excellent standards of service.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A positive, friendly attitude and strong team spirit.
