Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated experienced Landscape Labourer to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor and construction tasks.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, working on diverse projects that require physical effort and technical skills. Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape installation including planting, pruning, and turf care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and power barrows
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape installation, gardening or horticulture is desirable
- Carrying out construction tasks related to garden features, pathways, paving, walls, fencing and other outdoor structures
- Maintaining equipment
- Preparing sites for planting or construction by clearing debris and excavating using mechanical machinery
- Supporting team members in landscape installation
- Ensuring all work areas are kept safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape installation, is desirable
- Experienced in paving and block paving preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of power tools and machinery such as excavators is desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of general construction principles is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining tools and work site
- A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn is important
- Previous experience working with landscaping teams is preferred

We are offering self employed subcontractor roles with CIS registration or direct employment subject to experience
Pay: £140.00-£160.00 per day
