You’ll complete 4 weeks of pre-employment training, gaining the practical skills and knowledge needed to work in a warehouse handling food-based products. On successful completion, you will be offered a guaranteed interview with the employer.

Example Job Role After Completion
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties may include:
- Decanting boxes and repacking items
- Stock counting and inventory checks
- Checking product expiry dates
- Adding and organising stock onto pallets
- Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Following strict Health & Safety procedures
- Working within guidelines due to the nature of the product (pet food)
Pay Rates & Shifts (Post-Employment)
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Rotation: 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00
- From February 2026: 06:00 – 14:00 only (must be flexible as rotation resumes from March 2026)

Eligibility Criteria

- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be unemployed or actively seeking work
- Not currently in government-funded training
- Be able to commit to the full 4-week training programme
- Be able to travel to the workplace
