About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Traffic Management Operative to join our growing team working on a variety of highway and traffic management projects between Southampton and London. This role involves the safe installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic management systems on road networks during night-time operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management systems
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with industry standards
- Conduct equipment checks and report any defects
- Work closely with team members to deliver projects efficiently
- Maintain a professional approach when working on public highways
Essential Requirements
- Valid M1/M2 Traffic Management Qualification (minimum requirement)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Ability to work night shifts on a regular basis
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Desirable Requirements
- M5 Traffic Management Qualification
- Previous experience in traffic management or highways maintenance
- Experience driving company vehicles and towing equipment
- Additional LANTRA or NHSS qualifications
