We are seeking a dedicated Sales Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers, handling enquiries efficiently, and ensuring a positive experience at all times. This role involves engaging with diverse clients, managing data entry tasks, pricing jobs and contributing to the overall success of our customer service operations.
Strong communication skills and a professional phone and face to face etiquette. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate must be happy to work both alone and with a team.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations from drawings, plans and customer enquiries.
- Calculate material and labour costs.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Follow up quotations and answer customer queries.
- Read technical drawings and specifications.
- Prepare job information for the workshop and installation teams.
- Order materials where required.
- Keep quotation records up to date.
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or a related role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Experience in estimating, construction or the stone industry is an advantage, but not essential if you're willing to learn.
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal expression
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in upselling or cross-selling products/services is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment and alone and adapt to changing priorities
