We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker/Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various site tasks, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including unloading materials and equipment.
- Assisting tradespeople and supervisors with general labouring tasks as required.
- Moving materials, tools, and equipment around the site efficiently and safely.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure safety compliance.
- Supporting with site safety procedures, including setting up barriers or signage when necessary.
- Assisting with minor groundwork activities under supervision.
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks on site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided - site qualifications needed to start straight away but can be arranged for the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.
- Good organisational skills with an organised approach to work tasks.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on site.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites is desirable but not mandatory.
- Valid UK driving licence is a plus but not required.
