Childminding Assistant Job Description
Working hours are 9 hours per day, between 7.30am - 5.30pm with a paid lunchbreak
Main responsibilities
To deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years.
To help with the efficient running of the setting and overall delivery of a high quality service, a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment indoors and outdoors, at all times.
To help manage the day to day activities of the setting, have a good knowledge of how to extend children's play.
To help ensure that the room & garden is a safe environment for the children.
To help plan an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress, also be able to record this information.
Have a professional manner in developing good partnerships with parents/carers.
Be able to interact with the children on their level and form good bonds with the children.
Be willing to go on school runs and outings to the park, feed the ducks and any other places we visit.
To help prepare light meals and feed babies when necessary.
To ensure you have a good understanding and work to the settings policies and procedures, including how to log accidents, incidents, medicines & fire drills.
Have good computer skills as I use a system called "Baby days" to record everything, training will be given.
Be willing to do the childminding course and become a registered child minder if needed.

Pay: £2,200.00-£24,000.00 per year
