Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our family run business. This candidate will be working along side 2 other members of the team to ensure day-to-day running of the business and staff.
We are looking for someone who is able to manage and work with our busy team. This role is hands on, not an over-seeing role. We expect all our members of staff to work together to provide the best service for our customers and be proud of what we offer.
Wage will be subject to experience and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth operations during shifts
- Supervise and motivate team members
- Manage stock levels, organise inventory checks, and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing development opportunities
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business
- Support in organising events or special promotions to enhance the venue’s reputation
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Familiarity with beverage service is necessary
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is necessary
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
- Experience in serving guests in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £10.85-£14.00 per hour
