Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Qualified Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical experience and be proficient with hand tools and power tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and containment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute projects accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete installation and repair tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
- Proven experience as a qualified electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
- Demonstrable proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills, saws, and testers.
- Previous experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations is preferred.
- Knowledge of current electrical codes and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
