Bassingham Care Centre, part of Confident Care Homes, are looking to appoint a Night Health Care Assistant at their busy nursing and residential home.
Some common duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet/personal care.
- Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary
- Assisting nurses and other staff when needed
- Adhering to professional standards
- Shifts are 7pm-7am
- Working alternate weekends on a rota basis
- Hours available 36 (3 nights)
Full paid training is provided, experience in dementia/nursing care ideal but not essential.
NVQ 2,3, ideal but can be provided, please note we do not offer sponsorship.
You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to/have your own car due to our rural location.
Summary
As a Night Health Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to residents, particularly those with dementia, ensuring their comfort and well-being during night time hours. Reporting to the senior care staff, you will utilize your core skills in personal care and communication to assist with daily activities and maintain care plans. Your premium skills in home care and driving will enhance service delivery, while your relevant IT skills will aid in documentation and reporting.
