We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes , ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Supporting with nutrition as required, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition to the relevant professionals.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that each individual's preferences and needs are respected.
- Engage in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance the emotional well-being of residents or clients.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
- An ability to complete records and using relevant software applications.
