Role Overview
We are seeking a number of skilled and motivated Plumbers with Gas Qualifications to join our growing New Build Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out first-fix, second-fix, and final commissioning works on new-build residential properties, ensuring all installations meet current regulations, company standards, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install domestic plumbing, heating, and gas systems within new-build properties.
- Carry out first-fix and second-fix plumbing installations.
- Install and commission boilers, cylinders, radiators, and associated heating controls.
- Perform gas pipework installations and testing in accordance with Gas Safe regulations.
- Conduct system flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Diagnose and rectify installation defects or faults identified during quality inspections.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and certification accurately and on time.
- Liaise effectively with site managers, supervisors, contractors, and other trades.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping on site.
- Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations, Gas Safety Regulations, and company procedures.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
- Current ACS Gas Qualifications including CCN1 and CENWAT.
- Gas Safe Registration (or ability to work under company registration where applicable).
- Experience working within the new-build housing sector.
- SSSTS/ CSCS or relevant site safety qualifications.
- Strong understanding of domestic plumbing and heating systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Desirable Qualifications
- Additional ACS qualifications (CKR1, HTR1, CPA1, etc.).
- Unvented Hot Water Certification (G3).
- Experience with renewable heating technologies.
