About Us
Located in the heart of the stunning Langdale Valley, the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel is a family-run, independent hotel with a busy and much-loved walkers’ bar. We pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere to both locals and visitors exploring the fells.
The Role
We are looking for a flexible, energetic, and reliable individual to join our team. This is a varied role combining bar work with general front of house duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving drinks efficiently and confidently behind the bar
- Providing excellent customer service to guests and locals
- Assisting with table service and waiting duties
- Supporting the team with general front of house operations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areas
- Creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is essential
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
