About The Varsity Club:
You’ll be working in an iconic venue nestled in the heart of Oxford.
This dynamic role will have you working across 4 unique floors.
Your responsibilities will span a high-volume club atmosphere, catering to private events, crafting exquisite cocktails and curating unforgettable moments from our rooftop bar.
The role*:
- Refine your bartending skills by skillfully concocting an extensive array of cocktails, mixed drinks, and beverages using a diverse selection of ingredients and garnishes with precision and creativity.
- Interact with patrons in a welcoming and professional manner, adeptly taking drink orders and providing recommendations when solicited.
- Maintain a pristine and organized bar environment, meticulously restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Promote a clean and inviting ambiance for guests by promptly clearing and sanitizing tables and seating areas, while also offering support through the replenishment of glassware, ice, and other essential provisions.
- Adhere unwaveringly to all safety and sanitation protocols, including the responsible service of alcohol.
- Handle monetary transactions efficiently and accurately, including both cash and card payments, while providing patrons with precise change.
- Innovate by crafting unique signature cocktails and regularly refreshing the drink menu to captivate and delight customers.
- Stay abreast of evolving industry trends and advancements in mixology techniques to continuously enhance your craft.
