Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customised Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other relevant tools.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and RESTful services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce solutions to improve functionality and user experience.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices in software development.
- Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Manage version control using SVN or GitHub, ensuring seamless deployment processes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
Skills
- Proven experience in Salesforce development with a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with version control systems including SVN and Git/GitHub.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, C, VBA, SQL (including MySQL), and .NET frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for application deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs for system integration.
- Experience with Linux environments for deployment or scripting tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to develop custom solutions using VBA or other scripting languages as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay: Up to £65,000.00 per year
