Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association in the Merseyside area to recruit an interim Electrical Compliance Surveyor. The role offers £240 per day via umbrella and will be split between homeworking, the office (c.1 day a week) and property visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and legislation, delivering high-quality audit and assurance activities.
- Monitor contractors and suppliers to ensure works meet agreed specifications, safety standards and value-for-money requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective quality assurance processes, including inspections and performance reporting.
- Provide technical advice on mechanical and electrical installations for existing and new-build properties.
- Support financial oversight by reviewing payments for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with internal and external audits, maintaining accurate inspection records and embedding improvement actions.
- Contribute to operational planning and drive continuous improvement, innovation, and effective risk management.
About You
- Level 2 qualification in Electrical Installation & Maintenance is essential.
- Social Housing experience is desirable.
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
