Maintenance Planner reporting to Site Engineering Manager
Our client is a a UK-based manufacturing company that produces non food FMCG products, mainly for retailers' own brands, supplying customers across Europe.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure maintenance tasks are executed efficiently.
- Monitor and update maintenance records, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Manage work orders, spare parts, and resource allocation through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with suppliers to procure necessary parts and materials for scheduled maintenance.
- Analyse maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with production teams to align maintenance plans with operational needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and HSE teams to prioritise maintenance tasks in line with operational and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will:
- Proven experience in a maintenance Engineering or Planning role ideally within a fast paced FMCG environment.
- Degree educated in relevant discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Professional certifications (preferred): CMMS training, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), or equivalent EU-recognised qualification.
