We’re on the hunt for a full-time coach to join the team at Distinct Fitness.
Distinct Fitness is a strength and conditioning gym that specialises in personal training. We’re not a commercial chain. We’re a coaching-driven, results-focused gym that prides itself on making every member feel valued the second they walk through the door.

We’re not simply looking for someone with a Level 3 qualification.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves training, coaching, and self-development.
Someone who:
- Is passionate about helping people live better lives
- Trains consistently themselves and practices what they preach
- Loves strength training, learning about training, and developing as a coach
- Naturally enjoys speaking to people and building relationships
- Has a strong personality and presence within a room
- Is energetic, engaging, and comfortable leading groups
- Wants a real career in coaching, not just a side hustle
- Is hungry to learn, improve, and grow within a team environment
We’re very passionate about continuing education and standards.
If someone completed their Level 3 qualification and hasn’t invested time into learning, developing, or improving since, then realistically this probably won’t be the right environment for them.
We want coaches who are curious, proactive, and obsessed with becoming better at what they do.
The onboarding process
All successful applicants will go through a structured 12-week paid onboarding process.
This onboarding is paid hourly and includes:
- Coaching development
- Shadowing and mentoring
- Systems and service training
- Hands-on coaching experience
- Weekly feedback and development
At the end of the 12 weeks, successful candidates will move into a salaried coaching role within the company.

What you’ll do
- Coach small group personal training sessions
- Support members with nutrition and lifestyle habits
- Deliver an incredible member experience
- Help build a positive gym culture and community
- Attend team events, socials, and development meetings
- Contribute to the growth of the brand both inside and outside the gym
