Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair domestic gas boilers, central heating systems, and gas appliances.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to heating and hot water systems.
- Conduct annual gas safety inspections and issue the appropriate certification in accordance with current regulations.
- Undertake both planned preventative maintenance and responsive repair works.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with current Gas Safe regulations, health and safety legislation, and company standards.
- Complete job sheets, service reports, and all associated documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Deliver a professional, reliable, and customer-focused service at all times.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota as required.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Identify and report any additional repair or maintenance requirements to the appropriate manager.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of domestic heating systems, boilers, and associated controls.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to complete accurate records and documentation.
- Valid Gas Safe registration.
- Current ACS gas qualifications.
- Proven relevant experience.
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
