This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate with excellent research skills to gain experience of working alongside clinical and counselling psychologists in a multidisciplinary community CAMHS Eating Disorders team. The main focus of the role is to support the team with our audit and service evaluation work, and so the successful candidate will be confident in collecting, analysing and reporting data.
There is also opportunity to gain experience in psychological interventions for this patient group, to participate in our assessment clinics, and to contribute to service development. An ideal candidate would also have an experience with this or related patient groups, and strong communication skills for working with patients and families.
The post holder will benefit from being part of a large psychology team to support their development, and also from being part of the wider MDT, who have an active programme of supervision and CPD.
To contribute to outcome monitoring and service evaluation of the Royal Free Hospital CAMHS Eating Disorder team
To develop and manage the existing departmental activity databases
To contribute to and carry out audit and research activities
To contribute to the clinical services of the department as required
To participate in the MDT assessment clinic through taking notes and drafting assessment and formulation letters
Where appropriate take on pieces of clinical work under supervision
